I am a beginner with Access. I fill out a form monthly in which I enter the current price for each of several items I have listed in a combobox. If the price changes for a particular item, I duplicate the record and enter the new price. I now have more than one record and more than one price for the same item in the combobox list. I would like to create a button that would pull up all the records for the one item I have selected in the combobox. Is this possible? It seems obvious but I'm lost.

From the form I would like to choose an item from a combobox and then click a button to bring up something like a datasheet (like a filtered field on a table) or report which will illustrate in list form the activity/history of the chosen item in the combobox.

When I use the combobox wizard and add the field "item" from the "main" table, the result is a list of every item previously entered in the "item field". I don't want every item in the item field, I only want one particular item from the item field along with its repeat occurances.

Could you give me some instruction on the command button in order to achive the list I am looking for based on the selected item in the "item" combobox?

First, you need a form that can be used to display " all the records for the one item ". Then from your form with a combo box to select the item, use the command button wizard to write your code to open the form.

If you can't get this to work, come back with the code created by the wizard as well as the item field name and data type and the combo box name.
