Button text placement

I am building a kindof grid field with clickable values. I have therefor defined a number of buttons in a row/column grid, and connected a command to each one.
The thing is that the text is centered in the button, while I want it to be put it left justified. Both the -anchor and -justify options do not work. Is there some kind of margin for the placement of the text within the button?

Most likely the text on the button is left justified, but probable the button is centered in the grid's cell.
Must have a look on
