I have a form that display the attributes of a stock item. I want to use a button to produce an order form for that item using relevant details from the form.

Can this be done? How?

I think I need to generate a report but am uncertain on how to do it or if this is the right way.

Yoe might want to consider creating another form rather than a report, if all you want to do is display the data on your current form in a different way. By formatting your fields differently, you can make the newform look any way you like.

Then, all you would have to do with your button is open the new form and display the current data by a series of commands like

Forms!MyNewFormName!FieldName = Me!Fieldname

I really need it to be a report as I need to print it out so that it can be posted
