I am trying to setup a form with a button to locate a record based on two or more fields using userinput variables. Then set the form to edit that record. Does anyone have any ideas ? Thanks.

Check out the tCursor example under locate(). That should get you started. Note that you can use multiple field matches.

I looked at the TCursor example, but I want to use wildcards with my userInput.

Then you should check out the locatePattern() example (which allows wildcards). See if that will work and we'll help you get it implemented.
