How can I make the labels in buttons shrink when the frame is reduced in size? I have successfully gotten the frames and buttons themselves to shrink but the labels keep the same font size and are not readable due to extending past the edge of the button.

Thanks in advance...
Bob

You could bind an event to .windowPath <Configure> which is generated when the window changes size. Apparently 'you should not reconfigure a widget's size while processing a <Configure> event to avoid an indefinite sequence of these events'.
Presumably you'd have to factor the font size based on the ratio of new window size to old window size.

Maybe it would be easier to have a popup that comes up with the full name if the mouse pointer hovers over the button like they have for the 'Thank HydroBob for this valuable post!' links at the bottom of these posts??
