create all your buttons
>>>create a new movie clip and insert your main button in the first frame with the actions:
on rollover>>>go to and stop>>>"over"
>>>label frame1 "start" and label frame5 (or whatever) "over"
>>>put all your menu buttons in frame5 as well as a copy of your original button (or just extend the frames after your main button if its on its own layer).
>>>create a layer BELOW your buttons and draw in a rectangle to represent the rollout area, over which the manu will disappear again. Turn this rectangle into a button and give it the actions:
on rollover>>>>go to and stop>>>"start"
prob solved

Now Since I'n not as good as the rest of you guys (& gals) but you said:
on rollover>>>go to and stop>>>"over"
Well do I put that in the button or on the movie or in the button in the movie??
Also you said:
>>>label frame1 "start" and label frame5 (or whatever) "over"
Well how do you label the frames?
One more thing... Please don't get mad.. But you said:
>>>create a layer BELOW your buttons and draw in a rectangle to represent the rollout area, over which the manu will disappear again. Turn this rectangle into a button and give it the actions:

Well, ummm... with this other button, I take it that it's invisible right?? And also that it only is there when the other buttons that are going to be fading in from the other buttons are present right????
I'm telling you that this is starting to get hard.... Working on all of these things at once Thanks again.....
