i want to disable a button but i don't want to use the .disabled property. Is there any other way.
Please help

make it an image maybe. you don't need to script this attribute - you can simply say:

<button disabled>I don't work</button> jared@aauser.com -

You could also set the focus to the next form element after the button whenever the button gets focus.

unfortunately even if you give focus to another element, the button will still perform its onclick function when clicked. luciddream@subdimension.com
