i have two t1's coming into my cs1k. 1 is PRI for incoming DID and outgoing calls. 1 is T1 for incoming calls to main number. I am changing carriers and need to reconfigure the t1 as PRI. I don't want to lose any incoming calls during this process. Can I route the calls to the main number over to the PRI circuit via the PBX proramming so that I don't have to get the network carrier involved? I'm thinking along the lines of busying out the T1 card and setting up the routing to the PRI? I will have a technicianonsite to do the work but I want to make sure it is doable before I schedule the tech. thank you.

You do not have control of that main number until it hits your switch, so if you take your T1 down it will never get to the switch. You will need to get the carrier involve to route the main number to one of your DID's.
