I had setup call forwarding which seems to have caused an issue with our voicemail. I'm getting a busy signal when pressing the VM button on the NEC phone. I'm using the SL1100 to program. I've double checked that the card is sitting correctly. When calling it rings 16 times and then stops. I tuned off forwarding on all lines. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried a reboot? Can you dial Intercom 3999?

Thank you for the suggestions. I've flip the switch on the SL1100 a few times, unless there is another way to reboot it? When I get to the office tomorrow I'll try intercom 3999.
Is it normal to have 45-01 voice mail department group set as 32? If I change it to 1 and click the VM button on the phone it will just ring. If it's 32 I get a busy signal.

Group 32 is the default group for the VM. This system had a bug in it, if you did an upload all and included hardware, it kills the VM chip. You would need to get a back up database, default the system, then re-load the database to get it back. Try ICM + 3999 first to see if the VM answers.

Your total right! I had updated the blade as well.

1. To do a database backup database would I simply do a download from PCPro, then a file save?
2. Hold down red reset button on SL1100.
3. Then PCPro upload.

To default, on the power up, press and hold the red load button, while holding down, power up, count to 10, release the button. The system should default. Prior to that, make a back up of the dbase. Click on file at the top left, save as....name it, put it on the desktop for easy access.

In the future, when you do an upload, in the following screen click on the 3rd little box from the left in the bottom left. It will upload only your changes.
