Busy Reset - Speed Dial?

We have ACD, and folks continually forget to logout especially if they log in at home.

Is there a way to configure a speed dial to busy reset an extension instead of going into the web interface?

If your agents are ACD hotdesk and you enable hotdesk remote logout in the COS that will work for you. This is assuming you are running MCD 4.0 software on the 3300 platform.

 
We are not running MCD 4.0 but v9.0.x. Prior to the renaming, v9.1 was a fork in the road whether to upgrade hardware or not.

Don't we have to upgrade the majority of our hardware for MCD 4.0 as well?

I don't think resetting the phone will log it out regardless. The agent must log out manually.

With MCD4 you have options via presence management but if you are on the older hardware you will need to replace the controller.

Actually, I used busy reset to log off an acd agent this morning.
