I have a unique situation where I have 6 (7960’s) which have 4 separate numbers appearing on all the phones in a bull pen area looking identical.

Current Phone sets:

Phone 1 2 3 4 5 6
Line AAAA AAAA AAAA AAAA AAAA AAAA
Line BBBB BBBB BBBB BBBB BBBB BBBB
Line CCCC CCCC CCCC CCCC CCCC CCCC
Line DDDD DDDD DDDD DDDD DDDD DDDD

During the day all phones are occupied, however, at night there are only 2 people working and using 1 and 2. Is there a way they can busy out or make set busy on the extra phones at night to block in bound calls.

These phones are not in a hunt group, ACD group, and are not in a pickup group.

In the Mulitiple Calls per Line Appreance
I have changed the Maximum Number of calls and the busy Trigger. I know this limits inbound and outbound calls. Please advise.

What version of CallManager? Have you tried simply unplugging them?

give them accsess to the callmager user page and they can forward the extra lines to a live number in the group.

Hope this helps.

We are running 4.2 and we don't want them to do anything other than just press a key. This is in a Pharmacy that runs 24/7. The Pharmacists are the ones getting calls, but when they are busy, they are busy...Voice mail is not an option and there is no other forward destination.

if want them just to push a button a hunt group will be needed, then by pressing hlog it logs them out

Hope this helps.

Why not Call forward all to one of the phones that is working. Sounds like this is an area where you would want the calls answered ......

if they call forward they can only do that on the primary line

Hope this helps.

I think we're missing the point. All the phones have the same lines on them so CFWD to VMAIl isn't going to help. I doubt that HLOG will help either since they are all the same DN's. Short of changing the DN's on all the phones and using a Hunt Group, I can see 2 possiblities. Physically unplug the phones or use Extension Mobility. Build a EM profile that has the 4 DN's on it. Build the phones with no DN's. When someone wants to use the phones, log in with EM and the lines will be there. When they leave, they log out and the phones return as they were with no DN's on them so no calls will be delivered. Will work on any veriosn of UCM.

em would work, personally i think best practice would be to make a hunt out of AAAA. or even cti groups and point the extra numbers to AAAA.

and actually why not just leave as is? if all phone brodacast ring just turn down the ringer if it bothers the after hours people.

Hope this helps.
