Am I mixing up my phone systems?? I am trying to find the simple option to stop additional calls being presented to a user who has placed a call on hold.
Complex call centre - in so much as the agents often have to place a call on hold for a few minutes.
Unfortunately additional calls to their groups ring in to their extensions, pushing the held call out of the way, when the agent is ready to re-engage with their caller they find that there is another call ringing on the intercom button.
They have to try and take and clear the new call that has hit their extension before they can reach the original call they placed there.
I am looking for a simple 'Busy on Hold' option to stop calls being sent to an extension when the user has a call he has placed on hold.

you could setup a wrap up button that the agent can press to stop calls coming in to their phone for a set time
