Busy Lamp Key

Hi Guys,

Just after some information with regards to Busy Lamps Keys....

I have a customer, they have just had their Mitel 3300 upgraded from ver 7.1 to ver 8.0 UR4, the customer uses hotdesking on approx 15 extensions - all ther extensions have the other extensions configured as a busy lamp on their phones.

The issue I have.... when users are now loggen off, the busy lamp key flashes, is there any way we can turn this off - at the same time they wish to keep the light so they can tell when a user is busy on a call.

It was a new feature in 8UR3 to provide a way of indicating that a HD user was logged out. Unfortunately there is no way to turn it off!

Raise a DCR as i have cause i think there should be as it can get highly annoying!

I thought that was the case, It is very annoying !!!
