Busy Indicator 1

I'm still learning about the Merlin, so I have a question. We have a Merlin Legend with one user that wants to have a button on their phone light up when somebody else is on another specific phone. On a Definity this would be a Busy Indicator button. This would not be able to answer the other phone if ringing, just show if it's in use.

So what button feature would I program on the user's phone?

An auto dial button will do this.

At the extension you want the "BUSY INDICATOR" on:

Touch Intercom (or SA) and turn on the speaker,

Dial #00

Touch a BLANK Button

Dial *22, the Extension number of the one you want to have the Busy Indication for.

Press ENTER

Lift the receiver and hang it back up.

Thanks, I never would have thought of an auto dial. I'll get that programmed shortly.
