Business Views / Repository

I am using CR 10 and CE 10. Is it necessary to create a business view in order to create a repository???

The Business View Manager is also installed by
default with the Crystal Management Server. If you
do not require the Business View Manager, clear
the check box for this component.

I have Crystal Enterprise installed and was planning to use the reports using Query builder for Quality Assurance purposes. So I am using managed approach.
The idea is to keep track of reports not being used and their frequency. Now I was looking to use repository for better maintenance. Plus, I use scheduling. So I do have to install the other components of CE. So will I need Business Views?
