I have a business view (Crystal Enterprise X) which has a filter (for row level security) and that filter has a right setup. This is working fine. I have exported that and import that to another X environment and it’s working fine. I can see the filter as well as rights. Now I have created the same group in XI which is the filter using in version X and then I have imported the same business view in XI and I can see the filter but I can not see the rights. Anyone has any clue? If you update business view version do you need to reset the rights?

Business View Filter Rights & import from X to XI

I believe that yes, you'll need to reset the rights. The security model changed between the two versions, so there's no way to correctly import the access rights.
