I also tried to to recover the password by stacking the two units and but i was unable to see it come up as a stack ( tried both pure and Hybrid mode ) and that was not help to me this time..
I found a way to recover a password on a switch .. reboot the switch then press {ESC} Key then type {i} and it wil ask you if you want to erase config.. then reboot.. and your in... hope this helps
