Well, we've received the announcements for BOXI and the eXtreme Insight World Tour. Since this represents the first BO release since the purchase of Crystal, I'm thinking of taking an on-site look at v11.

We deferred the upgrade from CE9 to CE10 since there was no compelling reason to go through the effort. Now, I'd like to cut through the marketing veneer and determine if the corporate blending has produced something that seriously suggests an upgrade, or if it's just CE with a BO logo. Also, is the combined company offering a product line that I should get more of my colleagues involved in.

Has anyone seen the new product so that you can share your technical perspective? What value, if any, do you see in attending the World Tour presentation?

I'm working on BE-XI / CR-XI / and OLAP-XI right now - IMO very nice so far, a bit more than CE with a BO logo, but still CE infrastucture.
Is it worth the effort to upgrade? only you can say . How long before v9 is unsupported?
