Business Objects on a Whole

Hi All,
I know this is the business objects forum but I wanted to know your opinion on BO on a whole compared to other products especially around for example:

SSRS 2008 better than Crystal reports?
Strategy Companion Analyzer better than BO Voyager?
Anything that rivals WEBI?

I can only speak on SSRS 2008 and Crystal Reports. In general Crystal Reports is easier to use and more flexible than SSRS 2008. But if your only data source is SQL Server and you are an TSQL expert, there may be some advantages using SSRS 2008.

Crystal Reports designer is not cheap. And if you want to distribute reports to other locations, then you have to either get a viewer or Business Objects Enterprise.

That is what little I know. I hope it helps.

Thanks Kray, does SSRS 2008 allow sql cube as a data source and the whole slicing and dicing?

Can you distribute SSRS reports i.e. email inboxes?

Unfortunately I am not an expert on SSRS 2008. There are other forums that deal with SQL Server only. They should be able to answer your questions about SSRS 2008.
