In the past I have worked with SQL server. For a certain job they ask knowledge of oracle and business objects.
I have allready read some basics of business objects, but I'm still confused. In SQL server there was the opportunity to create tables and to ask queries, draw graphs,.....
1)Has SQL server the strength of both oracle and business objects together? Because I understood that business objects are intended for reporting and oracle is rather the query interface.
2)Can someone please explain me the principle of business objects? Is it mainly used by the clients, in order to preserve the integrity of the DB.
3)Does oracle also permits you to do reporting? If yes why do you need business objects?
many thanks,
