I'm getting a file bus.exe that shows up on my Widows XP Professional desktop, running XP office applications. I don't know what it is attributed to and have searched the Internet and Microsoft sites for clues. I also ran Norton, but am not sure where it is coming from. Any ideas?

Do the properties offer any information?

Have you searched for the name in the Registry?

Have you tried opening it up in Notepad to see if there are any plain text clues?
