Let me preface this by saying I am a new COGNOS user - I've been using Crystal Enterprise for years and am trying to replicate functionailty from Crystal.

Is there a way to schedule a report to save (in CSV, XLS or something similar) to a network drive or to an FTP site? In Crystal Enterprise, you could save to SMTP destinations, UnManaged disk (i.e. a local or network drive) or to FTP destinations.

Which Cognos product are you using? IWR, ReportNet or Cognos 8. All three support bursting, but the answer to your question will vary depending on the product...

MF.

Yeah - that would be important, wouldn't it? Cognos 8.

Hi,

See page 38 of the Cognos 8 Admin & Security Guide.

"Save Report Outputs To A File System"

Nuffsaid.
