thank for last questions.......

I have a new problem .......
I decide to change O.S from solaris 2.5 to Solaris 2.8
I download(in windows 98 intel Pc) solaris 8 whithout problems is OK
now I have solaris 8 in iso format BUT in a Pc intel windows machine
I try Bur a CD whit Solaris 8 But is wrong Format

QUESTION How I burninng a CD wihit Unix-solaris Format
from a Pc windows Intel pc-cdrom writer

The SUN website has a whole bit on how to burn the CD correctly, makes for some good reading.

But if you have the .iso file it should be no problem to burn a CD from your Windows PC, it all depends which software you have.

In most of the packages you can select from the "File" menu an option to burn a CD from an image, and normally one of these options will be *.iso. IBM Certified Confused - MQSeries
