Can anyone tell me how to burn a music (or data cd for that matter) with it in the order of the tracks, NOT in alphabeticle order? Using just what came with Windows 7, no third party software (Nero..etc).

For a Data CD, the order of the tracks can be set either by naming the files if they are on the computer to start with the track number:
1_name_of_track.mp3, 2_name_of_track.mp3, 3_name_of_track.mp3 etc...

Or even using Media Player to organize them, This is largely irrelevant though, as media payers can shuffle or play them in the order you specify by creating a playlist.
and windows will show them in which ever order you tell it to. If it has the Track number information, you can even sort by that.

For a Music CD you can try organizing them in Windows Media Player also in the order they should be burnt/played.

Just use the "Burn" tab in Windows Media Player, and drag the tracks to the right Disc Pane. There you can drag and drop them to have them be in whichever order you want them to.

Ignorance is not necessarily Bliss, case in point:
Unknown has caused an Unknown Error on Unknown and must be shutdown to prevent damage to Unknown.

What application are you using for burning? The built-in Windows disk burning app? You could try a 3rd party, and probably get more control:

Nero is good, though it does have its share of bloatware, and is not free.

A free option: CDBurnerXP - very good and free.
