I have a report which is run by administrators for each home in their area of responsibility and is submitted monthly.

The report runs fine but each administrator has to repeat the process up to 20 times when all they are doing is changing a parameter (Home Name).

Does anyone have any ideas.

Why not make the Home Name a group field, and do a reset page numbers and create a single report.

Another option would be to make it a recurring schedule, initially creating instances using the different values.

There may be other solutions, based on your software version. If you take the time to post it, and explain the intended output, etc., I'll take the time to tailor a response.

If the issue is that each "Home" needs to end up as a separate export file name or a separate (stapled) print job, then this is called "bursting". Have a look at the 3rd-party Report Managers listed at:

Visual CUT & DataLink Viewer:
view, e-mail, export, burst, distribute, and schedule Crystal Reports.

Crystal reports can use Excel spreadsheets as input. If you can't change the database, that would be a way to group 'homes' by administrtor.

Exactly how depends on your version of Crystal.
