we had got the following issue while maping Claim wise splitted EDI to EDI

Input is (Claim Splitted EDI) NUMBER OF Interchange's

ISA
GS
ST*xx*1
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM1
SE
GE
IEA

ISA
GS
ST*xx*1
HL*3*1*22*0
CLM2
SE
GE
IEA

ISA
GS
ST*xx*2
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM3
SE
GE
IEA

Now we want the result as One ISA with number of ST's with it's corresponding CLM's (HL's)of that particular ST 's i.e;

ISA
GS
ST*xx*1
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM1
HL*3*1*22*0
CLM2
SE
ST*xx*2
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM3
SE
GE
IEA

We are checking with the ST control number and we are getting all the ST's in one ISA, but all the claims are coming in all the ST's i.e

ISA
GS
ST*xx*1
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM1
HL*3*1*22*0
CLM2
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM3
SE
ST*xx*2
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM1
HL*3*1*22*0
CLM2
HL*2*1*22*0
CLM3
SE
GE
IEA

This is what we are getting

Can u please help in solving my issue.....

1) Use the UNIQUE function to pull the unique ST's into a functional map. So you pass the unique ST's and the whole input file into the functional map.

2) For each unique ST, create an ISA - IEA and extract all the ST's with the same number and map them.

3) Repeat this process for each unique ST sent to the functional map in the first step.

Thanks for the reply mlapse,
Its mapping fine now.
