Hi! Wondering if anyone can help me or tell me where to go? (be nice
I have a bulletin board. Is there a way to show the user only the new responses they have not read without having to log in to a site? The browser can detect visited links....could the bulletin board work in the same sort of way?

easiest way is with a cookie. set a cookies with the time visited and check for this cookies when the user goes to the site.

if the cookies exists
show the user all messages with a timestamp after the cookies timestamp
else
show all messages
end if
