I am using a non standard ":)" pc on our NT4 network. When trying to print bullet lists in Word 97 SR1 I get wierd characters instead of the normal dots or whatever. I tried ringing our local helpdesk what a joke.. nonstandard so there nahnahnananah. any one got any ideas? I dont want to go to Chelsea!!!

Hey, cheech. Are you trying to choose some kind of checkbox or what? What symbol?

Have you chosen "print truetype fonts as graphics" from your printer properties?

Are you printing it from the same computer on which you can see the correct bullets, AND are the bullets okay in print preview?

Have you tried a different bullet symbol with the same results?

Hi,

All I am trying to do is print a normal word doc that has a Bullet list in it. I have tried all the options in the Format>Bullets & Numbering menu and every one of them prints something different.
Where is the "print truetype fonts as graphics" option I am running Win 2000 Pro & have looked at all the options and cannot find it.

Cheers Cheech. Live long and make your kids suffer..

Take the bulleting all of everything. Go to Format-Bullets and numbering, click on the first bullet type, choose RESET, hit the next, hit RESET, do it to all bullet types and say OK.

Now reapply bulleting. Let me know if that works or not.
