Does anyone know how I can make bullet points similar to how Word does them (text lined up after bullet) in InDesign CS1. I do not have the PageMaker Extras. I searched on the forum for help and noticed a link to a plug-in, but when I clicked on the link it took me a to page that does not exist anymore. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can do it a number of ways.

You can set up a paragraph style and change the left indent by a half inch or so. You can also select the part you want to be a list and use your paragragh window to change the left indent. After that, place the cursor at the beginning of the first list page and go to Type menu, insert special character/bullet. When that's done you'll have a bullet aligned with the rest of the list. Then, in the paragraph style or paragraph go to first line indent and use a negatrive value (easiest to use the up down arrows) untile the text is alignes with the next line and the bullet is to the left

It's easiet to make a par style so you can keep it to reuse.
