Hi all,

I was asked to change our call flow for one of our Call Centers. They want to have the caller input their "Plan ID #." The problem is...there is close to 500 Plan IDs.

Right now I only know of being able to add the entries one by one and 500 of them is not something I'm looking forward to.

Does anyone know a better way to do this? Also, is there a limit on how many entries there can be in one CIR?

Thanks!

Is there something in common to the Plan ID #'s? ie: Are they going to the same Call Center Queue? You may be able to assign a CIR with a length that matches the length of the PlanID# and then do a generic ID.

An example would be:

Plan ID#'s: 17900223900~17900224400 (501 Plan IDs)

You could setup a CIR of 11 digits, then when you see "1790022*", you would redirect the caller to the skillset queue, or have the caller re-enter the number or disconnect them (the latter being pretty harsh).

But more than likely there will be 500 seperate ID #'s.. And to answer your question.. Nope.. All have to be entered one at a time..

Too bad you can't have it look at an external database to validate the PlanID#...

If you do find something, let us know...

Thanks for the recommendation DBrewsky. For a split second I thought that was going to save me, but after checking the Plan IDs and where they were being routed to I saw that bubble pop.

If I do find something I'll be sure to post.

Thanks again!
