This post is probably directed to firebirdscrambler since I am utilizing his procomm script found in FAQ to do an easy change to a bunch of sets.

I would like to change a bunch of sets TGAR.

I copied the procomm script for the easy change, compiled it successfully and have my .csv file.
Right now, my csv file only contains two sets as I wanted to ensure it was working before doing all the sets.

I put in TGAR 7 under the item list and select my file and enter my user name and password and click on accept. I enter a space bar for the date and time.

It runs perfectly until the first REQ: prompt where it sends out an error of: ERROR 2: DIVIDE BY ZERO.

I looked through the file but could not find an error 2 message.

I was hoping firebirdscrambler could help me out.

By the way, you're scripts are awesome! Thank you for writing and sharing them.

Thanks.

I'm here and I need to know which script you are using please and it is probably best to contact me via the link below.

Some of my scripts use *.csv source files and the other ones uses *.txt source files.

I'm guessing that you are using the easy change script for digital sets?. The script should also do the 500 sets as only the TGAR is due to be changed.

The trick here is that you need to have a file called
"vkeys.inc" You must have this file vkeys.inc located within the Aspect folder in Procomm Plus!

The other thing is that the source file can't contain any headings such as TN TYPE etc. It must only contain the data that the script needs to see.

The SOURCE file should be in a *.CSV Format (EXCEL!)
An example of the source file as viewed in text, is shown below. It should be The "TN" Number followed by the "TYPE"

004 0 00 00,2616
004 0 00 01,2216
004 0 00 02,2008
004 0 00 03,I2004
004 0 00 04,3905V
004 0 00 05,3901

It's best to view the *.csv file data using Notepad as you can view it for any errors such as missing comma's or spaces between the comma's and on the left hand side.

If you can send me the source data, then I'll take a look.

I am using FAQ798-7284
At the moment I only have two entries in my source file since I wanted to make sure it was running OK before I added in the rest. My file does not contain any headings.
My test file is:
016 0 01 00,2008
236 0 00 00,1220

I copied your vkeys.inc file (from FAQ798-7238) to my aspect directory, saved it and when I compiled it I received an error of:
Error C522 Line 0: Invalid script file name: VKEYS.INC

Thanks.

It appears it hangs up on this line 453:
if l_cur_fi_sz0 % l_prog_bar_op == 0

The VKEYS.INC file doesn't need to be compiled.

What version of Procomm Plus are you using as the copy I posted was for the last version 4.8. Please look at a screen shot that I have done of the script in Procomm.

My ProComm version is 4.8 build 71

I receive the exact same screen when I run the script - I put in my item TGAR 5 and tab through the other prompts and click on accept. It logs in OK and goes to LD 11 but as soon as REQ: comes up and the dialog box appears, that's when I receive the error 2.

Thanks.

Error solved.

I changed line 448 from: l_prog_bar_op = l_fi_sz0/40 to: l_prog_bar_op = l_fi_sz0/20

It ran successfully.

Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply back as I've been on vacation all of last week. I'm glad you got it sorted in the end.
