Am having a long beep on my pentium III and the mother board is built in type. I suspect that the built in card has a problem, can this be repaired? If I can use another card on top on the motherboard, how can I disable the built in card. Also how to activate the replaced card?
Please help. I have no manual for this computer. Its Aopen motherboard.

Motherboards are smart enough to detect a video card in an AGP or PCI slot and automatically disable the onboard video. So all you'll have to do is plug in the new card!

Do be certain hit the <del> or <F1> button when the computer is booting so you enter the BIOS. Look for a settings called "Onboard VGA", "Onboard display" or something like that and disable it. Now save your settings and reboot. Now your AGP card will be used.
