Built-In ACD programming problem with DBS 576, SMD MIS software 1

We're running a DBS 576 with the Built-In ACD. I've purchased a copy of the SMD MIS software for this platform, and so far it seems like the software and the switch SHOULD work well together.

Except for one pesky setting, which I cannot seem to change:

FF7-1-111-03: 1106 (MIS OUTPUT SW)
0:ACD MIS
1:OUTSIDE MIS

This needs to be changed to 1 based on what I have gathered from the manuals, however whenever I try to change it to 1 it doesn't accept the value (it beeps a couple times then reverts to 0).

There are a few related settings:

1101: RS232C B-RATE (9600 baud)
1102: RS232C DATABIT (8)
1103: RS232C PARITY
1104: RS232C STOPBIT (1)
1105: 232C OUTPUT SW

1105 seems interesting. The values are:
0:MIS OUTPUT
1:BUS MONITOR

I've tried every permutation of all of these values that I can come up with, and none of them allows me to change the value of 1106.

Can anyone assist with this problem?

are you a td or tda dealer ? if you ask nicely dbs Tech support may tech you on this issue.

Unfortunately, I'm not; I'm an end user with a lot of PBX experience, who was given this system and told to make it work.

Our vendor has a guy with a lot of dbs 576 experience, but he's not well-versed with the ACD/software, and he's never encountered this before.

I ended up not having to call them. I had put out some feelers with our vendor, and they managed to get a hold of someone who knew:

When modifying this setting (and apparently only this setting, cause I've been messing with the ACD a lot), the ACD has to be completely idle. We had agents or supervisors logged in each time I was attempting to make the change. It's working now.
