Building the Library takes forever....

I have just placed all my files into VSS, checked them out and was attempting to create a build but whenever I run the project builder it seems that it keeps building over and over.
Also when I do run this the existing *.exe is being deleted by the build.
I have choosen, Rebuild: Full, Executable Format: Native and Optimization: Speed.
Its pb6.0 w./ NT4.0

Any Ideas??

It sounds like a VSS-related problem; perhaps the work files are still locked. Check out the Sybase/Source Control forum for extensive information on PB and VSS.
