if i create a virtual disk raid 5 using openmanager, will it add space to the existing drives or create unpartitioned space?

Thanks for the help

It will create unpartitioned space in any event..

If disks are added to the original raid 5 disk set (migrated)(not creating a "new" raid 5), the space is unallocated, but with 3rd party disk manager software such as from Acronis ,Paragon etc, the space can be added to the original OS levl array volume, or without the used of 3rd party software, used as a separate OS level volume.
If another raid 5 set is created from disks added to the raid adapter, the space is unallocated and can NOT be added to the original raid 5 by any means.
