building master device task failed

Hi I'm trying to install sybase 12.5.2 DEV on Suse 10.1, and I get the same error: task failed while building master device.

The log file is available here:

perl script that I obtain from Michael Peppler website gives me following results
System: Linux erpoczta-002 2.6.16.13-4-default i686
Distro SUSE LINUX 10.1 (i586)
kernel 2.6.16.13-4-default
glibc 2.4-25
libstdc 5.0.7.20
shmmax 134217728

can anyone give me a hint??
