Hello,

I have a web site and I want each one of my pages to function like some kind of forum where comments can be posted one after another; and comment titles may automatically apear on margin columns as links that can return to special comments or threads. I dont know if this needs an application or a page build-up technique. Please help me. You can take a look at this blog to see what I mean:

Can enyone help me please!

Hiya,

easy to do, all you have to do is create the sidebar, include it in your main display template, and place the form in OnRequestEnd.cfm. Use a hidden form field to store the page's identifier (e.g. the url or id of the page) and record it with the comment.

We never fail, we just find that the path to succes is never quite what we thought...

hiya,

I have have fixed sidebars on my pages in the form of a 3-column table with permanent links, see this example:
but I am just not sure of the type of code I need to use so that there can be a comments form at the bottom of the page in a way that anyone can post a comment to the page automatically and the title of the comment can can automatically appear on one of the sidebars. I think I am just an absolute novice and I have maily learned how to laydown pages, but tricky techniques such as this one escape me completely. please help: sorry about this...
