I have in a table a field that has the number of seconds since January 1st,1970 at midnight and was wondering if there was any way to build an expression to convert it to a regular date time.

you simply use the format and dateadd functions.

Paul

ConvertedDateTime = DateAdd("s", SecondsSinceJan_1_1970, #1/1/1970#)

Try this:

Code:
DateAdd("s", number_of_seconds , #01/01/70 00:00 AM#)

This should give you a Date value including the Time by using the DateAdd function to add the seconds to your start date.

Good luck.
