I'm trying to build an ACD M3904 phone thru TM and need some help. I'm referring a print out of an existing phone build but keep getting an erro when it gets to the Key 0. This is the error:
Prompt: KEY Response: 0 ACD 4000 1023
Error Code: SCH0205 (SCH0205) Input out of range.

I'm not sure what i'm doing wrong. 1023 is someone id.

is there something i have to due in symposium express first?

help and thanks in advanced!

Looks like you may need to add the CLID table number you are using i.e. KEY 0 ACD 4000 0 1023.

thanks but i'm not sure what that means, how do i do that?
In the number plan of TM i did add 1000 to 1030 as ACD Position ID's. Is that what you are talking about?
thanks again!

Think your numbering plan is fine.
The CLID is the ID (telephone number) a phone can send out when you dial out.

Like trvlr1 stated: Just add a '0 ' (<zero> and a <Space>) before the position ID on the 'KEY 0' line and hit 'transmit'..

Print out another ACD phone in your system and use the same format for the appropriate key on the new phone. You have just missed out one of the parameters the PBX needs. This could also be 1,2,3 etc or a letter "D", but it should be obvious once printed out.

that was exactly it, i had it printed out and still missed it.

i have one more question. the ACD Position ID and the Agents Login ID - they are 2 totally different things is this correct? for some reason ours are built with the same numbers and i think it's just confusing.

Yes, they are two different things. I have found it better to use a completely different numbering scheme, so that nobody starts to think that they have to use a different number if they log into a different phone. And also, Agent Login ID does not come out of your PBX's numbers available, so you can do whatever you want.

Nice to have the Position ID somewhat relate to the DN of the phone. If DN 4711, then Pos ID 774711. Because what you see in the phoneset list in TM is the Pos ID.

I agree with bajangsa, relating the numbers like that makes it very easy to help when an agent has issues logging in, I can go straight to the desk and start testing, just by seeing the extension on the phone.
