build failure notification

Hello,
Is anyone aware of a method to send a notification if a job in DecisionStream or a cube build in Transformer fails? At the moment, we check our log files every morning to determine this, but would like to get away from doing that.

Any thoughts would be great.

If you run your jobs via macros and call the macros with a scheduler (cognos or NT), then you can code all the notification you want. The macros are very similar to VBscript.
