Hi guys - I need to be able to pick certain members of my dimension based on a substring which could appear anywhere in the name, and to do this almosy dynamically for any area of the dimension and any selection from withi it.

I want to be able to do this for any section of this dimension so I thought that MDX might be the way to go.

The items could be from anywhere within the dimension, but will be from level four, and will contain the string 'BA' at some point within the name.

Can I build this almost as aseperate dimension? My cubes are all automatically generated and its alsmot impossible to get anything changed, so I'm actually trying to do this using MDX within ProClarity, as that is my only option.

Any ideas that anyone has would gratefully appreciated!

Fi.
