Bug copying & pasting from IE 5.5 SP2 to Excel 2002?

Does anyone know of a bug copy and pasting from IE 5.5SP2 to Excel 2002 (part of the Office XP package)?

I have a user who just got a new pc shipped with xp and when she copies and pastes simple tables from an html page to an excel workbook, IE crashes after a couple of copy/pastes.

Haven't found anything so far in MS KB...
