Bug check 8008

My Quantum SDLT320 has been bugging out lately. I ran some tests with xTalk, the diagnostic tool that Quantum distributes for their products. The drive failed on "Bug Check 8008" - problem rewinding. Cleaning needed.

I've already cleaned the dock so I doubt that another cleaning will do the trick. Any ideas what this means?
