I have searched for an answer in releated gif problems within IE6 but none resolved this problem.
On just about all web pages I have the infamous red X's where some sort of graphic file should be. When I right click on it and check the properties, they all show as "bug.cgi". My file associations are okay for graphics such as gif and jpg.
I also get an error on some pages where an embedded page shows with a 504 error in that one little portion of the page, usually telling me that I am not authorized to view this page.
This is driving me bonkers! I have checked for spyware, viruses, etc.
SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!!

Ah yes! Right path but not fully resolved just yet. I checked out the link you gave and followed the information to allow web bugs for the sites in question. It is better but not 100%. So then I went back to Zone Alarm's Privacy tab and allowed EVERYTHING for eBay, the prime victim of this problem. Still not 100%. If I turn Zone Alarm off completely, the site works beautifully.
So, now my question is, what do I need to tweak? There were three ebay related sites in the Privacy section of ZA. The first is ebay.com followed by ebay.doubleclick.net, and then include.ebaystatic.com.
Man, Tek-Tips is without a doubt the most useful resource known to all of geekdom! Thanks for your help!
