Can anyone explain BUG6244 "SETCUSTPTRS failed". This is coming up on occasion in our 81C. The description in I/O systems messages is a little unclear.

Sounds like a TN doesn't have a valid customer number in the database. Check the TN that was printed with the BUG6244 message and see what the customer number is.

impossible to assign a cust x to a tn without that cust haveing a def in the cdb. i would print that set, out it and put it back in. that is if the bug comes up more then once a day. i never ignore err codes, if you do the switch clears it ram at exactly the worst time, heavy traffic.
