I need to verify the buffer settings in ld 17, but I need to know where to find the documentation in the NTP's for the correct values for the opt 81c. My problem is every few days I get alot of err 030 on the same loop. thanks

Hi pbxman2,

I would first check the TN referenced in the ERR 030 alarm, per the description in the system messages, to see if the card has a problem before changing the buffer value. I don't recall what section in the NTPs this is covered in but some of this type of info is not covered in more recent NTPs. If you have any of the old NTPs from the late 1980s to early 1990s they may provide more info in this area. When the NTPs are reorganized they tend to leave out some stuff I have noticed.

Hope this helps!

It seems to be all the tns...2 anlg, 2 dgtl cards. everything has been replaced up to now. Thought I would check the buffer settings next.
