Looking for some advice here
We've got a large production Peoplesoft SQL box 8 X 2.7 gig processors... 8 Gigs of RAM (7 allocated specifically for SQL)
The database itself is only 25 Gigs but accessed by approx 100 users continually.
Usually when I see a message like this my first thought is more RAM... but with 8 Gigs or RAM sitting there that makes for a hard argument to win.
so 2 questions
1. Is there a way to identify how much RAM is ACTUALLY being used by this server
2. Any ideas as to what else to check?
Thanks in advance
