budget for new year

I'm trying to upload a budget to GP using the Excel import method. The budget is for the upcoming new fiscal year. Problem is, the new fiscal year is not an option in the budget year drop down box.

How do I add the new year so I can select the proper budget year for the new budget?

The year has to be first set up in GP in order to be able to budget against it. This is done by going to Tools > Setup > Company > Fiscal Periods.
