BU Exec terminated by User and Drive Offline

The following log is from a Backup Exec terminated session. I'm getting a couple of these a week (at other times everything is just fine). In each case the backup does 200 - 300 Mb and then terminates itself.

The BU starts with Exchange mailboxes 7:00:14 and at 7:00:27
the only related entry I see in the Event logs is

MSExchangeSRS (1304) Online defragmentation is beginning a full pass on database 'D:\exchsrvr\DSADATA\srs.edb'.

Could Exchange be stopping the backup?
Any comments appreciated!

Someone is doing maintenance of the Exchange database just prior to you doing the backup.

They are 'defragging' the database and that usually locks the resource since it's state is being drastically changed.
