BU Exec and linux

We have BU Exec 10.0 installed with a new LTO 448.
Our old backup system was based on a script running on a SUSE Linux server with DLT tapes.

Does someone knows if there is a possibibity to recover data's from these tapes ( if I install the tape library on another PCI card ) or if BU Exec is able to read datas on these tapes???

IF the tapes are in MTF or Microsoft Tape Format it can read it. Or some forms of Arcserve format.
